Dive into the Tarot for Meaning, Solace, and Purpose | Full Moon in Pisces, March 2022

“The Moon in Pisces, or High Priestess dressed as the Moon, is a time of increased perception…Be still, aware and fearless. It might be dark outside, but if there was ever a time you can navigate the unknown, this is it. Listen, breathe, flow.” ~TheTarotRoom.com

“New Moon conjunct Jupiter (2°10′) is a sign of good fortune...a good new moon to expand your horizons and better yourself...improve your health, wealth, and happiness...”

“Jupiter in Pisces…9 of Cups…feeling emotionally fulfilled, happiness overflowing; pure bliss and blessings. Regardless of what might be happening in the material world, joy is always within us. It's our truth. Open yourself up to the harmony that underlies everything, remember what you have been blessed with, and let the inner joy follow.” ~LifeForcesInc.com

Wow. Are we really exiting the pandemic and being asked to bear witness to more war? What do we do? How do we cope? What can we control? Where is our attention being directed? How do we maintain our sovereignty within all of this chaos and tragedy and consciously choose where we put our attention, intention, thoughts and capacity for creation?

The stars and the cards invite us to look at things from new perspectives and these mythological symbolic and archetypal mediums are pointing us into our own hearts.

Astrologically there are at least two major conjunctions happening with this new moon that are affecting each other and simultaneously offering us further opportunity for growth. On March 2, the new moon (High Priestess) meets up with Jupiter (the Wheel of Fortune) in Pisces (the Moon).

The moon card indicates the unconscious becoming conscious, and asks us to pay special attention to our dreams - engage with them to find out what our unconsciousness reveals to us about the world and ourselves. Other ways of engaging with the unconscious are through art, and through opening ourselves to an “indigenous”, one with all, perspective where everything around us has meaning for us, when we can see/hear/receive the messengers and the messages.

During this time you could find your dreams feel more real than your daylight hours and what’s not said is louder than what is.

Fears might grow like a boogieman under the bed, but if you just take a peek, they’re as likely to be dust bunnies as demons or ghosts.

Jupiter, represented by the Wheel of Fortune speaks to the turning of the wheel and the expansion of our fortune. We are all on the wheel and have the opportunity to see “what is” from any point on the wheel, and from each perspective the view differs. We can choose which way we want to view it. Jupiter is a planet of expansion, creation, luck and good fortune, which increases what it touches. So this new emotional perspective our unconscious is revealing for us has the opportunity to expand and help us open up, look for and see the blessings we may have been so recently cursing. That opportunity is imminent.

The day following this opportune new moon/Jupiter conjunction, Mars (Aries/Tower), Venus (Empress/Justice) and Pluto (Death/Judgment) all meet together in the 27th degree of Capricorn (the Devil).

"Venus, Mars, and Pluto together create such intense and powerful energy that it must be used purposefully and constructively to avoid the uncontrolled and destructive release of energy. Working independently on something you are passionate about would be helpful. A burst of creativity can be used to make major transformations in your life. Use your increased power and influence wisely."

The devil card is a card about freeing ourselves from the chains that bind us, about taking responsibility for the way we see ourselves and the world and finding our way out of the quagmire of wounds, dysfunctions, addictions and unconscious behaviors that are so much easier to project onto others and complain about. Until it’s not.

“Mars in Capricorn, or the Tower’s lightening striking the Devil’s lair, can be a time of powerful recharge…There’s a chance now to let go of rigid thinking and to break free of rules, self-imposed or otherwise, that serve only to dominate rather than to guide. Be open to sudden illumination, and willing to take charge of your own material domain. You might not control everything, but you do control yourself. Don’t give your power away.” ~TheTarotRoom.com

“Venus in Capricorn, or the Empress in the Devil’s clothing is a time of creative intensity and physical manifestation…getting things done and making them real…with compassion for yourself and others…connecting to it on an emotional level…with an eye to the beautiful…the value of what you create. Celebrate and love with passion, but try not to chain yourself to anything for too long.” ~The TarotRoom.com

The opposite of the Devil Card is the Lovers, this juxtaposition offers the opportunity to see what happens when we do free ourselves and are able to individuate, become the person we were born to be.

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
~Oscar Wilde
“In this… we witness the rise of the human consciousness…It is [the hu]man's supreme task to rise like fire, impelled by a vision they share with their companions. The Keyword: UPREACHING."
~Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala

The opportunities for powerful transformation at this time are so beautifully apparent in the tarot cards themselves I decided to let them do the talking and offer below the 2 sets of tarot cards that are related to the Mars, Venus and Pluto along with a quote about the Sabian Symbol of 27th degree of Capricorn.

What if we all let go of blaming, haranguing, judging and lambasting (ourselves & each other) and instead decided to become the change we want to see in the world. I invite us all, myself included, to practice, next time we hear ourselves complain or judge, whinge or talk smack about any one (including ourselves) STOP and instead FEEL what’s really behind the anger and hatred; are we scared?... sad?...lonely?...jealous?...etc? And FEEL what it is we WISH was so and IMAGINE what we is needed in that moment to bring the world closer in thought, word, action or deed and either DO it or BE it now.

And what if instead of sharing our complaints and judgments we shared our visions and wishes for the world and gathered with others to create those visions together. Two or more, gathered to raise the vibration and make the world a better place. Yes, please. Thank you.

It’s time to say goodbye,
To things that might have been,
But though the night is dark and still,
The Sun will rise again.
