The Goddess of Love acknowledges and empowers through offering her full presence to the “Beloved” of the moment.
She has the capacity to see through the lens of the open heart and knows that the beloved lives within. She sees the path of self love as the path of opening to pure love; not the romantic idea of love that is looking for the perfect partner outside the self. As she looks into each and every heart she sees that very love reflecting back to her.
The Goddess of Love helps heal the distorted body image that sees less than perfection.
Perfection that is not dependent on looking like any idealized image of perfection, it sees all beings uniquely expressed in their own individual expression as perfect.
The shadow of this aspect is self-absorption, vanity, excessive focus on outer form rather than inner beauty, insensitivity to the needs and feeling of others, manipulation to get what one wants or to successfully compete for that which one desires. Jealousy, comparison and insecurity are shadow aspects of the archetype in human nature.
The Goddess of Love lives as the embodiment of love.
In Her Presence love is awakened and felt with full sensual awareness. The power of the senses become heightened and open to receive and transmit. A sense of fulfillment comes from feeling fully.
She is the bearer of Beauty’s Way; She knows the power of beauty to illuminate, bringing harmony to each and every exchange and environment.
Beauty feeds the creative fire. She has a natural eye for beauty, an innate knowledge of color, and sound, and an internal sense of harmony.
May we open our hearts to this eternal love—not the hallmark card, expressing the distortion of romantic love. Let us write a love letter to Self and express this divine pure love that is here in service to Love!
A Valentine message from the Goddess of Love!
Oh Beloved One, let me bask in your radiant beauty…in the fecundity of your divine humanity. Allow me to embrace you unconditionally with my pure eternal love. I see you beyond your human form and know you to be an expression of your divinity. For when I receive the gift of your Holy Presence I feel in harmony with the entire universe. I see through the eye of my heart knowing that we are ONE, that there is no other. I weep with wet tears washing away all fears of opening to this vast love. I let down the shields that have armored my heart and defended an idea of love that believed it was not safe to be this open. I stand here naked as a devoted lover, wildly passionate, and free to embrace our full sensuality and ability to receive life through all our senses; to lick life and receive the abundance of this feast of agape. As I receive you whole heartedly I receive the Self. Cupid’s arrows have pierced my holy innocent heart splitting it wide open so this ocean of love can flow forth for all beings.
