However vast the divine milieu may be, it is in reality a centre. It therefore has the properties of a centre, and above all the absolute and final power to unite (and consequently to complete) all beings within its breast.
~Pierre Teilhard deChardin
Jupiter has the power to unite, the wisdom to surrender and the insight to accept what is as an expression of the divine. Confidence arises from knowing, and knowing is that our thoughts create suffering, separation and illusion.
Jupiter into Leo is a big deal. Leo is the Heart, in fact, the ruler of the heart. Taking into consideration the hefty shift happening globally—more gratitude, more consideration, more Love--the planet of more, Jupiter, in the sign of generosity, giving, shining, presents an opportunity to broaden one’s belief in Self (Leo is ruled by the Sun, around which all the other planets revolve and the Sun represents Consciousness, Self. Leo rules the 5th house—I seek to express Self, to realize Self) and to merge wisdom with Love; to realize our heart’s desire lies in the acceptance of self as Love. Then we navigate life with confidence knowing that there is nothing greater that I can share, Self.
The ripple effect tickles our fancy and delights us in unimaginable ways. Thousands of seeds planted and sprouting. The faith to grow with Jupiter in Cancer and now the confidence to shine, Jupiter in Leo. Wherever Jupiter is affecting your chart by transit you may be sure that the shining that is encouraged has little to do with what one might gain as an individual but rather what the individual has to contribute to the whole.
Jupiter is about good fortune because our hearts open to deleting boundaries. Love is expressed and an abundance of it and an abundance of Love is what returns to us. Do not question the timing of this. Know that all of it shows up exactly when and as it should. Patience is necessary. Though we may have big ideas and a big desire for those ideas to bear fruit now, it may not happen instantly. It depends upon when the seeds were planted and if the seeds were planted! Maybe this cycle of Jupiter is about planting the seeds. That is okay too. Eventually we reap the rewards for what we sow. When Jupiter is involved the harvest is big!
The symbol for Jupiter looks like a number four—spirit into matter—the manifestation or creation through spirit into physicality. In the Major Arcana of the Tarot, the Emperor IV is the 4th card and sits on a throne reminiscent of paintings and sculptures of Jupiter/Jove from the Roman era. The Emperor card suggests supreme confidence in his ability to manifest here through the knowing of divine essence in physical form. He is recognized for wisdom, patience and mastery; mastery of the ego, thoughts and the story, all that perpetuate illusion.
The other two tarot cards for July are:
Four of Pentacles--here we are motivated to let go of attachments that limit and distract us from the goal of waking up to our true nature. Some of these attachments are to beliefs that generate fear based on thoughts from the past that are not here now and therefore are not true. With the Emperor and the four of Pentacles, our foundation for the kind of exploration Jupiter encourages is sound. We need not be concerned that possible annihilation awaits us. In fact our faith is strong in knowing the impossibility of that thought.
Judgment XX—is the third card, 5x4, our theme number times 5, number five being the number of human potential to create. As such this card is a powerful call to arise or awaken to what our potential is here—so much more awaits when we ‘step out of the dream’ into Reality. Once we’ve heard the call there is no pretending that it didn’t happen. The game is up. This is it. We are one. Why abuse each other when we are all one? What is the point of suffering?
Speaking of suffering, for those who have really felt Saturn in Scorpio in retrograde motion, relief is just around the corner. Direct motion occurs July 20th at 01:36 p.m. PDT. However its exit from this sign altogether does not occur until December 23 of this year if you happen to be rather anxious for that occurrence. Those of an astrological fixed nature will appreciate the sentiment.
On a completely frivolous note, July is summer and a great time to play, have fun and experience the child on the loose. Jupiter is about play and enjoyment too so let go and let Be! There really is no effort required here.
