12/12/12 and 12/21/12...so much anxiety was created around this date! Along with this, however, much attention was also focused on our own conscious paths and those of our fellow co-inhabitants on this planet. When I grew up, I could not grasp how far ahead the year 2000 was in the future, it seemed so distant. Yet now we will move into 2013. And what an incredible journey it has been!

Global Consciousness[/caption]
I would like to invite you to look back at your life; all the wonderful people & experiences...there are so many in my life and I feel truly blessed and cherish each and every one of these moments. Of course life has its challenges too and just as abundant as there seemed to be joy, there was pain over the loss of people we loved, people who gave up on themselves, their values and integrity and chose to walk the easy path of blaming others rather than bettering themselves. At the end of the day, we all are on an amazing journey, no matter where we are currently on our path.
There is a global consciousness; with a shift socially, spiritually and emotionally. Ultimately things are possible that were unthinkable only 50 or 100 years ago. As the people of all nations come closer in understanding one another and stand up for what should always have been basic rights for everyone, no matter where they are from, governments and large associations can't help but listen to this new found powerful voice, the shift of conscious change that we all have slowly and steadily contributed to.
In the future:
I hold much light and positive thought for the legalization of marriages to love partners who want to commit their lives to each other no matter the orientation of the relationship.
I hold much thought on creating a new found understanding and better approach for the ongoing crisis in the Gaza strip and for consciousness that will make the new generations want to find a way to live with each other peacefully.

I hold light and thought for new cures and relief of pain for so many diseases thanks to technology and advanced research we have today. And I hold light that everyone will come to realize that the Holiday Season is not about who can carry the most bags and boxes out of the store and under the Christmas tree, but taking an extra moment to smile and give freely to others who we so often forget or ignore.
Last but not least, I hope that after so many violent killings over decades, that the last, current disaster will finally bring a change in the consciousness of Americans. May we realize that we need to make much needed changes when it comes to weaponry and who should be allowed to have them and use them. May the challenges this year has brought for so many give the understanding to move to the New Year with much hope, joy and conscious knowledge of endless possibilities for positive change.
