March: Clarity that Erupts with Enthusiasm by Anna Chapman

I celebrate myself; And what I assume you shall assume; For every atom that belongs to me, as good belongs to you.

~Walt Whitman

Sinking deep into the heart there is an ocean of feeling that produces images, fragments of experience that transcend this moment, whispers of endless voices through time and they are all mine. Yet, “the truest part of me never spoke a word.

~Robert Nickel

Here I am ready to move a mountain but become distracted as I stop to shift the pebbles along the way. Lifetimes of wanting to…? drifting in space and here, lost in the thoughts that secure an existence as fleeting as an evening shadow. Truth meanwhile shimmers, sighs, rages, plunges, rises beats us into submission and gently rocks us into peace. And what of it? Eventually you and I stand melting into each other. Unable to tear our selves away from this moment of realization. We are open as only an innocent child, devoid of worldly conditioning can be. There is no you and there is no me.There is only clarity. Not an iota of blame. We share everything here. Everything. The love, the suffering, the chaos, the clarity. When we are ready, perhaps emotionally mature as Adyashanti suggests, we let go of whatever structure has supported our temporary home, this body and are released into the undefinable knowing that is the beauty of all that is experienced here through these eyes. Just these eyes, the eyes do not ‘think’. I move through space without a ripple. I reach out to touch you in eternal connection.Passing judgment suggests a flaw that the mind produces. The mind can behave like a limp that persists long after the ache has healed. There are numerous influences that condition our responses to life some that we have little awareness of; are deeply rooted in centuries of thought. If our responses are ‘predetermined’ through conditioning do we ever really have clarity to just see a person or situation as it is? To utilize one’s intuitive nature is to listen, feel and observe without judgment, with clarity. Clarity once again, is what is without a thought that something ‘should be’ other than it is. Truth is everything in every moment regardless of what any of us thinks. Bringing the past into this moment obscures our vision.Judgment often happens in an instant; can be based on our instinct for survival, the primal fears that saved us from extinction.

According to a new study published in the Journal of Neuroscience, the brain immediately determines how trustworthy a faceis before it’s fully perceived, which supports the fact that we make very fast judgments about people.

Protection and security; also limits us to an abbreviated life, not fully present when in our fear or judgment. Layers between you and I—separation. We feel each others openness and we feel each others walls. And at the same time that we are melting we are also judging. Until the horizon line is merely milky blue perched upon the back of sprawling indigo and without words yesterday and tomorrow are both now.Clarity is subtle, doesn’t push, prod, cajole, entice, deny. Not something to attain but is realized as the absence of anything else. My mind has ‘let go’ of agenda. The mind ‘rests’ even if only for a heartbeat, there is clarity. Joy may (or may not) erupt as the knowing of freedom and infinite possibility arises in awareness; when the mind picks up the pebble once again and skips it across the indigo. It is just what is happening in this moment. We need not attach any meaning to it or think that there is anything that is not okay with any action. The amazing Truth about the expression of true nature is that there is no effort required. Life unfolds even without my participation. There is nothing about us, you or I that is flawed. Clarity is knowing that whatever takes place here is an energetic sharing—one atom to another—intimately compelling and equally repelling. It is the nature of our world, inhale and exhale and even that will desist. In the silence, in the emptiness there am ‘I’. Upon waking but before opening the eyes say, “I am that”. What? Not this body, not this mind but ‘that’. Throughout the day scrutinize your thoughts and discover the secret of their persistence. Be willing to put your self under the microscope if necessary to see that you have been masquerading as something when you are nothing—and everything. Slowly you slip away. There are no pebbles and certainly there is no reason to move or change anything....

In the Tarot, as discussed several times, the Fool 0, represents emptiness, the unknown and the journey to Self-realization. No matter where we are on the path of awakening the process is the same, continuing to put one foot in front of the other with innate trust. The flower that he holds in his left hand is the blossoming of Truth through one who is free of conditioning and child-like in his enthusiasm for discovery, the mystery and the magic. The Pages of the Tarot are all an expression of the Fool. They have not a care or worry. Whatever their element they represent openness, child-like enthusiasm and the freedom to be not other than their true nature. In practical reality, the Page of Pentacles (earth), has the potential for many opportunities that ground him in the physical world; giving him a sense of abundance not influenced by what might be occurring around him. He is a magnet for attainment. The Page of Cups (water) is free of emotional attachment. His capacity for creating and imagining flows from the endless source. It doesn’t need to look like anyone else as he knows that emotional security has little to do with anything or anybody outside him self. The Page of Swords (air) is a messenger. The purest intent motivates him to speak and communicate without fear of others reactions. When the spoken word comes forth without judgment it gives others the opportunity to listen with the heart. We are freed of the thoughts that bind us by the sword he carries and with which he makes his point. The Page of Wands (fire) has enthusiasm plus! Purified by the element of his suit he is ready to adventure without fear to the fulfillment of a vision that is not specific but in alignment with what most wants to be expressed. He is overwhelmed with emptiness that makes everything possible and that is the only thing he knows.StillsI have nowhere to go and nowhere to gowhen I get back from there. ~A. R. Ammons
