Two of Wands[/caption]
Everything is Possible! I love when the two of wands appears in a reading. It has such positive connotations as does the entire wand suit. The two of wands however, is where we recognize or decide that all things are possible. “I hold the world in my hand and know that I create my reality. The extent of my ‘success’ is directly attributable to belief in my self. Twos are about balancing opposing forces and when we achieve this state through peaceful communion with the yin/yang, physical/spiritual nature, we are free to be whatever we envision.
All the wands indicate new growth and new beginnings that occur when we see through the illusion and can indeed ‘see the far shore’. As the suit that represents fire and the burning away of impurities, it stands ready to receive our most passionate desires. We have overcome material things to which we might be attached (suit of Pentacles). We have brought our emotional nature into balance (suit of Cups) and we have realized that negative thoughts or patterns of thinking can impede our forward momentum (suit of Swords). The two of wands stands as a gateway to all the positive things that I can imagine. In his left hand, the side which represents the intuitive self, he holds a wand confidently indicating his connection to the spiritual self whilst the other wand is firmly bracketed into the wall symbolic of having the physical element well grounded.
The resounding message—trust your instinctive, intuitive nature and everything is possible. Whether it be spiritual or astronomical, the earth is receiving positive energy from various sources that make our journey here so much easier and more graceful. We don’t need to ask questions or try to rationalize what is occurring; just to be willing to receive is all we need do. Our essence is automatically attracting/attracted to these energies. We are awakening to our own perfection with speed and there is nothing we need do but trust and know that the motions we go through on a daily basis is the ego executing patterns of behavior that are familiar to us. If we can tear our selves away from the automatic responses and reactions long enough, we stand at the gateway to freedom of being.
This could be a month of tough love or as Don Juan, Carlos Castaneda’s teacher would say, a time for “ruthless compassion”. Yes, there are wildflowers in abundance and nature is looking her best after lots of rain but for us humans we must remain vigilant in our efforts to continue to remind our selves that once the blinkers are off there is no holding back. The track is wide open and the home stretch is less than a heart beat away. It serves no one to use a fork when soup is better eaten with a spoon.
Bee PollenTo Support the Epigenome (DNA Methylation)This is a complex subject that I began to research briefly because I was told that bee pollen will support that which surrounds the DNA, the epigenome. It may be more true at this time for reasons that relate to the poor nutritional value of the food we consume. Bee pollen along with honey is the only food that bees eat and so we must share in a way that allows bees everything they need as they provide us with so much. The following is part of an article about food and the epigenome.
“A diet of the proper foods affects the ability of the epigenome to control gene expression in the genome. Such expression (genes are either silent – turned off, or expressed – turned on) affects the health of the body. To achieve good health, detrimental genes are turned off and beneficial genes are turned on in specific sequences. The expression of beneficial genes is healthy for the body. The expression of detrimental genes results in diseases and other unhealthy conditions of the body.”
This applies to the health of children yet to be born in a way that we may not have previously understood. A queen bee becomes a queen bee because she is fed exclusively on royal jelly, a food made by nurse bees solely for the queen. She begins as a worker bee, increases in size and weight and then lives approximately seven years while the worker bees live only several weeks.
