2012 is the Year of the Dragon in Chinese Astrology, and what a fiery and magical year this will be! Dragons may be mythical creatures, but they loom larger than all other beasts in the menagerie of our imaginations because they coax us in to their underground lairs and challenge us to find and claim the power of our own souls.
No hero's journey is complete without first fighting, and then befriending, the Dragon. When the prince or princess foolishly descends into the dark forest, led only by the fire of their own desire, Dragon awakes within and without, forcing the young warrior to find strength, courage and passion within. If he/she survives and can appreciate the gift of fierceness and transformation Dragon bestowed, they become allies for life, sharing one heart.
