Working with our chakras is the perfect way to get a good start to maintaining balance and good health in the year to come.Since your chakras are responsible for vivifying your body, animating your thought processes, and expediting your emotional experiences. They are infinitely more important than you may believe, and contain the keys to your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and financial well-being, a.k.a. Empowerment!If you think that what exists is only what you can see, and if you ascribe to the notion of “believing only in what you can see with your human eyes”, you are letting yourself be fooled by outdated modes of skepticism that no longer hold up under modern day technologies and conveniences, which are based on so many things we can’t see with the human eye. Too many discoveries in science and technology are already revealing that there is always more to it than what our eyes can see. What if understanding this information can make the biggest difference in your life? Would you make space in your psyche to consider it? If you already have some experience in this area of healing and research, then you no doubt understand that your chakras are important, but you might not know how to work with them.The fact is that our chakras are always working, bringing in vital chi energy for your body to use to do what it’s programmed to do; heal and regenerate. When you are low in chi energy or your energy field is congested or depleted, your physical body will heal at slower rates; your emotions will carry a negative tone; and your sense of connection will feel off. This can lead to wanting to isolate or medicate or addictively seek non-healthy ways of solving for the discomfort, however from my personal healing experience, both with myself and in my private healing and energy reading practice, I have discovered that when given the secrets to working with the chakral system, and when given the chance to practice the healing techniques I teach and use in my daily life, clients become empowered in a new way that helps them not only heal faster at the physical level, but at the emotional, relationship, mental, spiritual and financial levels, too.So the question is: if you are low on chi energy, or if your chakras are unbalanced, meaning some are overly activated and some are underactivated, what can you do to work with them to normalize and balance them? Below are 2 things you can do to balance and boost your chakra’s capabilities:
Breathing is the easiest and one of the most powerful ways of moving your energy. It’s also the most impactful way to develop the sensitivity of feeling the energy with your hands. I recommend rhythmic breathing to the pace of inhaling for a count of 6 and holding for 3; then exhaling for a count of 6 and holding for 3. This type of breathing prepares you to feel the energy within your body and with your hands, while cleaning out the stress energy in the solar plexus. Even having a daily breathing practice in stillness, cleans and balances out our chakras to a degree. Make sure it’s abdominal pelvic breathing and not breathing from the upper chest area, as that will have the opposite effect and can add to your stress levels. NO Upper Chest breathing for energy balancing purposes.
Yes, you heard that correctly! You can either do it visually, since your energy follows the directions of your thoughts; or your can literally spin your body (like Wonder Woman style, to the right) for a minimum of 9 rotations. If you spin it in your mind’s eye with your eyes closed, you’ll want to do so for about 6-10 breathing cycles to last you all day. At the end of the spinning, send your energy through the top of your head out through the bottom of your tailbone and soles of your feet, 10-15 feet into the ground. Then instruct your aura thusly: “Aura, you are to deflect all negative congested energy, or psychic attack coming at me, into the ground! As I will it, and with the blessings of the Supreme Force, so be it!” This flushes the auric field and the chakras of congested energy weighing you down, but it also roots and grounds you, while providing a measure of energetic protection.
No more than 30 minutes, temperature to your liking) with 2-3lbs of regular table or rock salt (Epsom salts do not break down congested pranic energy). You can add 15 drops or so of either lavender, sage or tea tree essential oils which have violet, green and orange pranic energy, repectively. Regular salt soaks give me deeper sleep and take me out of the stress mode after a long day. I’ve also used it to quell any irritations when conflicts arise with my honey. Let’s face it, relationships come with their stressors as much as their benefits, and these stress factors, cause the auric field and chakras to get congested and a little out of balance. So soaking is a way to get back to your own self-care while giving your chakras a little bit of relief and refreshment. If you stay longer than 30 minutes you might feel worse, since the extracting aspect of the salt water will have matured and any longer of a soak turns into basting, which you do not want to do.Why not make it a personal practice to use these 3 tools regularly during the week and see whether or not it’s making a difference? Remember that the basic principle is largely based on cleansing and energizing, in order to balance things. Chakras have dimensions, rates of spin and directions they spin in, multiple colors and functions. It’s a science (in other words, based on constants that can be relied upon) that can work either for you (or harm you, if you do not know the underlying foundation of things).
