Do not hold on to past hurts. Whether for something you have done, or for something done to you. When you are resentful or angry, you may contribute to the development of disease such as heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, and ulcers.

Using powerful forgiveness affirmations is an easy way to let go and release those negative emotions from your mind. Do the affirmations daily for a month in the following manner:

Visualize or think of who, intentionally or unintentionally, you may have hurt or who may have hurt you. This could be a person, a group of people, an organization, or any other entity from your past or present. Include yourself if you feel guilty or sorry for things you might have done to yourself.

Mentally declare that you forgive them. Speak aloud, "I fully and freely forgive you. I let you go to your good quickly and in peace. All between us has been resolved with peace, love and harmony for all concerned. I do this with peace in my heart."

Mentally declare that they forgive you. Speak aloud, "You fully and freely forgive me. You let me go to my good quickly and in peace. All between us has been resolved with peace, love and harmony for all concerned. I do this with peace in my heart."

Speak these affirmations several times a day.. Speak them for everybody you have difficulty with in your life- and truly mean it when you say it out loud! Then watch what happens...
