Holy Fools Day[/caption]
I am the Cheshire Cat asking, ‘Who are YOU?’ Before you answer: Stop, Listen, Breath and then shake your mind free into the Fool’s Zone that does not need to know. The Divine Fool is asking you to let go of the minds incessant need to know, control and get it right. Be willing to lose your mind and let the insanity of this waking dream awaken into a new reality; one that is open to the power of absurdity, levity, light heartedness, and humor. Create a new play/day that is filled with spontaneity, creativity, fluidity, vulnerability, unpredictability, surprise, inspiration, freedom of expression and Joy.
Sound like Fun, then it is a Go! The question the Muse is asking of you, ‘Does this bring me Joy?’ When we are in our Joy we are a magnet for Divine Inspiration, a Spirit filled Infusion. When we get out of the mind we go into the no-mind, a place of Freedom and Spaciousness that is willing to open and receive true guidance, this is Heart Knowing.
The Divine Fool as an archetypal energy has been seen as the Kings Jester that would be called upon when important matters of state needed to be dealt with in a new, humorous way. The Jester or Holy Fool would communicate what could not be seen through the minds’ lens, thus having a greater chance to be heard and received. The power of the Fool is one of unlimited potential, it is a 0 meaning infinite source. The Fool is one that lives outside the rules and regulations of the ordinary and creates in new ways. In this the creativity expands into a field of infinite potential.
From my point of view in this holographic projection of planet earth, things could look pretty serious if we so choose to see through those lenses. I personally believe this is the time to call in the Fool to rule. God knows our past rulers have not been terribly successful in ruling this kingdom as Heaven On Earth, which is what we are here to create Now!
So bring on the Fool to play in a new way. Shake things up, unravel the threads of the past dream and rethread them into a new pattern; one that is based on unity and community. That is the why I have initiated the KindaLooney ComeUnity where we join together in the spirit of the Holy Fool and release our creative expression, free to ignite the Divine Fire of inspiration and breath in the beauty of the new as the old structures continue to crumble. Instead of sitting around grumbling, complaining, and getting depressed it is time to get undressed, letting go of the ego, getting naked in our vulnerability, and opening our hearts to the Love that is wanting to be expressed through our innocence.
Google says that the Fool comes, as it always does, when the old structures, prejudices, and beliefs are no longer adequate to the challenges at hand, and the divine manic/Fool is needed. He or She lives in a private world, and so is not bound by the shared conventions, preconceptions or norms of society. The Gods-or-chance select the idiot who will become the savior who will transform society. He is elevated to King for a short time (for only so much madness can be tolerated) and must undergo many transformations before, with luck, he rejuvenates the world.
We have been tricked by our culture into living in a left-brained, rational, controlled, work-oriented way most of the time in our lives. There is a huge cost to continuing to choose this imbalanced way of being. Play is not a luxury, it is a means to spiritual freedom. In our natural state of divinity there is only the playful, unfolding magic of each moment. So what are the skills for living in the present moment? Fluidity, flexibility, non-judgment, acceptance, allowance, spontaneity and creativity are intrinsic to the state of being fully present and available to the magic and joy of each moment.
In reassessing our spiritual freedom, we are willing to be vulnerable and perhaps even risk being seen as "foolish". Reinvent, renew, and rejuvenate your Spirit this moon by kicking off this month of April with Fool's Day and invite the fool in every day. Have this month be a practice of play, stimulating and creating new neurons in the brain of the heart of the Fool. Start each day in a new novel way, tell a new story, or at least don't repeat your story lines from the past. Be willing to go free-form, non linear, non casual and see where you end up. You may think it is just nonsense but that is the idea make no sense. Go beyond the mind into Enlightened Divine Mind.
To lighten up and not take life so seriously, is Enlightenment. We will be joining the Fool's Forces for a flash mob outside Paradise Found on April 1st to kick off this month of foolery. Blessed be the ones that are willing to be like children again and play in this infinite playground of planet Earth!
