As we enter into this Holiday (Holy Day's) Season let us remember the potency of the darkness to reveal the light. The light is always brighter as it emerges from the darkness. Winter Solstice December 21, some say that it is December 22 this year, is called the longest night or the first day of winter. It is a time of going within and embracing the darkness. In many traditions it was a festival celebrating Light or the Sun God. In Christianity it is a time of celebrating the birth of the Christ, the bringer of light, the Savior. Hanukkah also known as the Festival of Lights is an eight day Jewish Holiday commemorating the rededicating of the Holy Temple, every night a candle is lit to symbolize this.
I see the Winter Solstice as a time to enter into the womb of the Great Mother, a time to rest in her sweet embrace and prepare for the birth that is emerging in the coming cycle. The Divine Mother reveals her love in many faces, one of which is the “Black Madonna, She Who Carries the Ember through the Darkness." In her black light she reveals what cannot be seen in daylight alone. The Black Madonna is called the one that calls us to remember that the Eternal is not only all around, but also a spark within us, in and from out of the dark. She has a way of seeing through the light shed by the dark. The Black Madonna is a mother who is also aware, too, of our hardships that occur to us, in and from out of the dark and unknowing, unconscious, ignorance, and innocence.
She is portrayed as black because she radiates "black light" that allows us to see beyond the mundane and the profane, and into the deeper aspects of the world. Her black light illuminates. In the black light and the daylight we can see her source and force of Immaculate Love. In this light she shines the way between the worlds, so that we all might see, as she sees…fully awake, eyes open, all worlds, all worth's, always.
She is said to be one that stands between the worlds and sees the greater pattern that is unfolding. As we stand at this turning point moving from 2011 to 2012, let us gather the gifts that have been revealed in this past year. All of the things that have been exposed, the shadow revealed, in this awareness we have the power to recreate anew. To see beyond the darkness and be the bringer of Light, the Christ, the One that is blest by the Sun. To allow this time of gestation in her womb to be a fertile one that brings beauty, creativity, positivity as the new nativity.
Let us fully awaken to the beauty that is within and open our eyes to see the beauty within everything. All worlds joining in harmony and unity.
Give your SELF as the gift. Let your PRESENCE be your present.
Embody the Black Madonna and let your body be filled with Light, open your Immaculate Heart and embrace the world that is birthing through you.
We are the Ones, the Saviors, the Bringers of Light. Peace can only come when we awaken from the dream of duality and birth a new reality.
May we welcome the light that is returning in this time of darkness. May we be the ember that keeps the fire burning, igniting the new through each of you.
My Holy Immaculate Heart is blessing each of you in this Season of Light so that you may see all is right. May you know that you are held in the holy womb of the Mother and that you are a Divine Child, a Wholly Innocent, that is here to shine like a million suns.
In Joy, In Peace, In Love, In Light!
The Black Madonna
