Full Moon in Aquarius~~Part 1 of 2

"During this Full Moon, align with Leo to feel your most authentic self and align with Aquarius to show up in the world as that self, knowing you will find people who appreciate your unique character." ~Spirit Daughter

"Time says 'Let there be'
every moment and instantly
there is space and the radiance
of each bright galaxy."
~Ursula K. LeGuin, from 'Hymn to Time'

The July full moon is called the Buck Moon because it coincides with new antler growth on young deer.
It is also called the Thunder Moon for summertime storms.
Next month is the Full Sturgeon Moon, also in Aquarius!

Full Moon in Aquarius Friday 7/23

"On July 23-24, 2021, we reach the peak of the lunar cycle with a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius. This is actually one of two Aquarius Full Moons we will experience, as next month, we will also have another Aquarius Full Moon. Having two Aquarian Full Moons back to back indicates that these Moons will work in harmony with one another. We may find that whatever is stirred for us at this Full Moon will be linked to the next Full Moon come August 22.

Having two Full Moons in Aquarius within a calendar year also puts an emphasis on this sign of the zodiac. Aquarius is an air sign that is represented by the water bearer. The water bearer has the gift of being able to collect water, which signifies the emotions of the world, in its vessel and transmute them using the power of air. The water bearer is then able to pour them back down to the world, bringing a shift in consciousness. It is this nourishing act that gives Aquarian energy a natural healing quality, and one that we can connect with on this July Full Moon. "

"Leo and Aquarius are two sides of the same coin, and that coin is unconditional love. They may appear opposite in the sky, but these energies are similar in their cores. Their execution of this energy differs, though. Leo governs love on an individual level. This sign guides us in being generous, open-hearted, compassionate, and accepting of love from others while giving it in return. Leo reminds us that the heart is the center of our being and our energy. To live and lead from the heart, we need to express it freely. This authentic expression comes from knowing who we are and accepting every part of ourselves. When we embody the highest expression of Leo, we live a life from the heart; we express our truth freely; and we lead others with compassion, courage, and conviction.

Aquarius, on the other hand, governs love on a more global level. Aquarius reminds us that all beings are deserving of love and each person is worthy of acceptance for who they are among the greater collective. Aquarius inspires us to create systems and structures that serve all people and uphold a love for everyone. From this perspective we can honor each individual’s personal freedom while maintaining the structures that hold society together. Aquarius helps us speak our truth when we see inequalities, express our beliefs about how society needs to evolve, and lead our communities forward when needed. When we embody the highest expression of Aquarius, we celebrate the differences among all people while seeing them as equal and worthy of the same unconditional love. Aquarius in its high side gives us a love for humanity while helping us honor each person’s individuality.

As we shift our energy with the help of the Full Moon, we can bring awareness to our outdated patterns and make space to form new ones that more accurately represent who we are and the energy we want to emit to the world. The highest vibration of Leo and Aquarius is unconditional love for all beings, including love for ourselves and others. True acceptance leads to true belonging for all people."

"This Full Moon occurs when the cooperative Aquarius Moon opposes the individualistic Leo Sun. This cosmic coupling allows us see the difference between satisfying ourselves (Leo) and collaborating with others (Aquarius), and helps us understand the relationship between teamwork and individuality. The community-conscious Aquarius Full Moon reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves, and that acting on our ideas and ideals will benefit everyone."

"Along with the opposition of the Sun and Moon, Jupiter also opposes the Sun this Full Moon and forms a conjunction with the Moon. Conjunctions occur when cosmic bodies are within 7° of each other. Jupiter expands everything it touches. It shows us our potential and asks where we are not living up to it. Jupiter wants us to be great and to take up space. Jupiter teaches us how to break through self-imposed limitations and take leaps to higher levels of existence.

Jupiter is retrograde this Full Moon, meaning its energy takes a more inward focus. Jupiter retrograde teaches us that happiness is an inside job. Our expansion comes from our own ability to imagine it. We need to believe with every fiber of our being that we are capable of great things. This transit helps us release doubt and recognize places where we are keeping ourselves small, and why. There are many reasons we avoid our potential. Fear is one of them. We often fear success much more than failure because we don’t know who we will be if we succeed. We also fear the unknown. Even if we think we want our visions to manifest, we sometimes sabotage them because we are not ready for change. Many of our blocks are subconscious, but Jupiter retrograde can bring them to the surface.

"We currently have five planets in retrograde: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Cosmically, we are on repeat as planets dance around each other, reminding us that there is no linear road available. Life moves in cycles, the Universe moves in cycles. Retrogrades bring us lessons to reintegrate and help us process events more deeply. See repeating cycles as an opportunity to learn, unlearn, and heal. Also, recognize that movement happens in all directions. The key is to keep moving."

Refresh your Mind, Body and Spirit with Energy Clearing

"Sometimes we say that we have to take a break or go for a walk to clear our heads. If you've ever felt that way, you have recognized that your mental energy body is filled with thoughts that needed to be sorted through. As you walked, you probably examined different ideas, discarding some and examining others more closely. You discerned which to keep and which to release.

Clearing your energy body is just like that. You consciously examine what is residing within you. Then you can decide what you want to keep and cultivate and what you want to release. Energy clearing and cultivation are great practices for making your home, office, or even your car feel good and safe. You can use the ideas below to help support your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

5 Types of Energy Clearing Techniques

1. Movement

Keep your energy clear and flowing by moving your body--Yoga, walking, dancing, running or swimming are all great ways to move energy around or break up stagnant energy.

2. Sound

Traditional methods of using sound to affect energy include rattles, drums, gongs, bells, singing bowls, and clapping. Sounds can wake up the mind and our energy.

3. Water

The simplest technique is to wash your hands or face with plain water, or take a shower or bath. Some people like to add essential oils specific to their purpose (i.e. lavender for relaxation), or use cleansing salts, and soaps infused with oils and herbs. A visualization that involves water can be helpful as well.

4. Fire

Fire can be a powerful clearing ally. You can incorporate fire into your energy-clearing work through actually burning things (perhaps a paper inscribed with energies you are releasing), lighting candles, and, as with water, through visualization.

5. Air

Burn incense to create a sacred space in your home, and as preparation for meditation or other energy work. Incense is commonly associated with air, and the fragrant smoke from burning herbs or resins has been used for cleansing energy for centuries. Slow, rhythmic breathing is another powerful energy clearing technique that channels the elemental power of air to rebalance and stabilize.
