"The Libra Full Moon is the first Full Moon of the astrological year. It comes to us near the end of Aries Season, when we've had four weeks to focus on ourselves and our soul's mission. Libra reminds us that we live in a world of other people and no matter how much we want to stay on our desired path, there will always be outside influences that distract or support us. This Full Moon is a time to feel into which relationships or partnerships enhance your life's mission and which ones ultimately take you away from it.
Before contemplating partnerships, though, Libra teaches us to find equanimity within ourselves first. Libra is the sign of Scales. It shows us when our internal world has been tipped one way or another. Libra’s energy governs the tools we use to help right our internal scales and create calmness within. Life is full of many bumpy roads and situations that can throw off our inner equanimity. It's not always easy living in a world full of differing energies and vibrations. It's up to us ultimately to maintain our balance as we interact with the world around us. Libra teaches us that it's ok to not always feel centered. When we feel unbalanced, though, it's important to recognize these feelings and take the appropriate measures to create calmness within—preferably before interacting with other people."
"Libra teaches us that to create harmony in our outside world, we must first create it in our inner world. Our inner harmony is disrupted by our thoughts and emotions. To maintain inner peace, we must become aware of our emotions, when and why they are triggered, and what thought spirals they create. Furthermore, we must learn and gather tools that help restore equilibrium once it has been disturbed. Once we understand how to keep the peace within, we can extend this knowledge to our relationships and create unions that feel supportive and nourishing."
"“Pink Moon” is a traditional nickname given to full moons that fall in April, according to the Farmer’s Almanac. It comes from the widespread bloom of the North American wildflower called pink moss phlox that occurs during this period of the year. This aligns beautifully with the spiritual meaning of this full moon, which encourages us to blossom when it comes to goals, social connections, and more.
Additional historical names for this moon include the Egg Moon and the Sprouting Grass Moon, both of which also reference symbols of growth and renewal — themes that are especially potent during the spring season. April’s full moon also happens to be the Paschal Moon, aka the full moon that follows the spring equinox and determines the date of Easter. This further amplifies the rebirth-oriented energy of this lunar moment.
As the first full moon of the astrological new year, this is a powerful time to ramp up the energy on our current goals and leave the darkness behind to make room for fresh springtime growth. New beginnings are everywhere.
"Jupiter and Neptune aligned in Pisces this week, for the first time in 166 years. These two planets actually conjoin more often than that, in a different zodiac sign every 12.7 years. But their rendezvous in the sign of The Fishes is significant because both Jupiter and Neptune are considered "rulers" of the twelfth sign; this simply means they have a strong affinity for the qualities of Pisces, and naturally strengthen and amplify those traits.
The high-vibrational expression of Pisces manifests as a wide array of admirable and desirable traits, especially for those who are spiritual seekers or creative visionaries. Pisces is the sign of transcendence, enabling us to rise above the dramas of physical life through calming the mind and accessing other planes of reality, often through meditation. It is the sign of oneness, selflessness, and unconditional love, helping us feel a deep compassion for all life. It is the sign of intuition, dreams, and the imagination, opening our consciousness to idealistic possibilities. It is the sign that encourages us to go with the flow rather than controlling our lives at every turn. It is the sign that allows us to become so immersed in a creative endeavor that we completely lose track of time.
All of these lovely Piscean qualities are magnified throughout the month of April, as Jupiter and Neptune travel within two degrees of each other. Their exact conjunction, when their combined influence is the strongest, occurred on Tuesday, April 12, when both planets were at 23°58´ Pisces. This Jupiter-Neptune conjunction encourages us to experience new levels of spiritual awakening and heart opening. For some, it may awaken or strengthen their psychic senses and enable new or enhanced spiritual awareness. The imagination and visualization abilities are heightened, expanding meditations and artistic expression."

"Box breathing can reduce stress and improve your mood. The slow holding of breath allows CO2 to build up in the blood. An increased blood CO2 enhances the cardio-inhibitory response of the vagus nerve when you exhale and stimulates your parasympathetic system. This produces a calm and relaxed feeling in the mind and body.
That makes it an exceptional treatment for conditions such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depression. According to the Mayo Clinic, there’s sufficient evidence that intentional deep breathing can actually calm and regulate the autonomic nervous system (ANS). This system regulates involuntary body functions such as temperature. It can lower blood pressure and provide an almost immediate sense of calm.
Step 1: Slowly exhale. Sitting upright, slowly exhale through your mouth, getting all the oxygen out of your lungs. Focus on this intention and be conscious of what you’re doing.
Step 2: Slowly inhale. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose to the count of four. In this step, count to four very slowly in your head. Feel the air fill your lungs, one section at a time, until your lungs are completely full and the air moves into your abdomen.
Step 3: Hold your breath. Hold your breath for another slow count of four.
Step 4: Exhale again. Exhale through your mouth for the same slow count of four, expelling the air from your lungs and abdomen. Be conscious of the feeling of the air leaving your lungs.
Step 5: Hold your breath again. Hold your breath for the same slow count of four before repeating this process.
“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.”
