Full Moon in Sagittarius | Wednesday, June 11th at 12:44am PT

"The Sagittarius Full Moon has the power to help you understand which fears need to stay and which ones should go. It also opens up the door to believing the best can happen. We spend much of our time "what if-ing" ourselves and envisioning the worst-case scenario. This catastrophic thinking only blocks our ability to manifest and recognize best-case scenarios.

Worrying about the future doesn't help you in any way. It may feel like you're preparing for different scenarios or controlling outcomes, but really you're just depleting your energy. The best way to prepare for potentially negative situations is to stay fully present. When you remain present, you have your full energy and attention to respond to anything life hands you. Being present and assuming the best will happen is key to working with this Full Moon. Challenge yourself to remain in this state of mind for at least the day. When intrusive thoughts enter, counter them with affirmations that state the opposite. Challenge your worries and fears with the help of this Moon and ask yourself if you can heal these fears by focusing on the positive in your life."

"The Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 11th, brings a surge of energy focused on truth, movement, and expansion. Sagittarius is a sign that encourages growth beyond limitations, and this Moon invites you to reevaluate what you believe, where you’re headed, and what needs to change in order for you to keep evolving. It’s a time to look at the big picture and check if your actions still align with your values and goals. This lunation isn’t soft or subtle. Several powerful planetary influences are involved, making this Full Moon action-driven and emotionally charged.

One of the main influences is the dwarf planet, Eris – the Goddess of Discord and Strife. Her activation during this Full Moon may bring up tension or disharmony, particularly in areas where you’ve been ignoring problems or holding back from speaking your truth. You might feel challenged by others, or even experience conflict within yourself. But Eris brings disruption only to expose what’s no longer working, so something stronger and more honest can take its place. The discomfort she brings is a signal that something deeper needs attention and transformation.

Mars is also highly active during this time, amplifying the intensity of the Full Moon. Mars is the planet of drive, motivation, and action—but also anger and impulse. You might feel more restless, easily irritated, or physically energized. This is the fiery, action-oriented counterpart to Eris’s disruption. The two together can stir up impatience, confrontation, or a strong desire to break free from anything restrictive or stagnant. If you feel the urge to make a bold move, trust that instinct, but pause long enough to make sure it’s aligned with your long-term goals rather than a reaction to temporary emotion. This energy is best used for taking purposeful action, initiating needed change, or setting new boundaries—not for arguing or pushing people away."

"Full Moons bring culminations, revelations, and release. But in Sagittarius, the release is spiritual. It is a letting go of old belief systems, of narrow visions, of truths we once clung to but that no longer match the shape of our becoming. It’s not always comfortable, but it is clarifying. And it sets us free.

This is not the time to shrink. It is the time to lift your gaze, to the future, to the unknown, to the version of you who already exists just beyond this edge.

Every Full Moon carries the signature of the sign in which it occurs, but a Full Moon in Sagittarius also carries the imprint of its ruler, Jupiter, the great amplifier of the zodiac. Symbolically, this lunation is a meeting with Jupiter himself, the planet of expansion, truth, meaning, and the urge to go beyond what is known.

And so, this Moon doesn’t just illuminate, it magnifies. It casts light on what has grown quietly within us and now demands space, recognition, and perhaps release. But what it magnifies is not noise – it is direction. It’s the quiet but undeniable pull toward a larger version of your life, of your beliefs, of your future.

Jupiter reminds us that growth requires vision. And Sagittarius, under this full lunar light, reminds us that vision must be rooted in truth. Not borrowed truth. Not inherited beliefs. But your truth: the one that survives doubt, the one that expands you from the inside."

Wild Freedom: A Sagittarius Full Moon Dance Ritual

"There are shortcuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them."
~Vicki Baum

Purpose: To move your body in celebration of your truth, release what no longer serves, and ignite your inner fire for expansion and discovery.

When to do it: On the night of the Sagittarius Full Moon (or anytime within the 3-day window of its energy).

What You’ll Need:

  • A safe space to move freely
  • A playlist of high-energy, soul-stirring music (world rhythms, drums, or anything that makes you feel wild and free)
  • A candle
  • Journal & pen

Ritual Steps:

1. Create Your Sacred Space
Light your candle. Take a few breaths to ground yourself. Set an intention or invocation. Ask yourself: What do I want to expand into? What truth do I need to embody? What part of me is ready to be liberated? Write or recite out loud your intetion. For example:

“Under this Sagittarius Moon, I call in expansion, truth, fire, and freedom. May my body move with purpose and passion. May I release what binds me and embrace what calls me forward.”

2. Drop into the body

Before you begin your dancing, take a moment to feel your heart, your breath, and this intention that brings you here. Imagine the light of the full moon illuminating your space with what you need.

3. Dance!
Hit play on your playlist and begin to move. Let your body guide you. Shake off stuck energy. Leap, spin, stomp, stretch. Laugh or cry.
Let your movement tell a story—from what you’re letting go to what you’re moving toward.
Dance as if no one’s watching. Dance as a prayer. Dance as a release. Dance as a becoming.

4. Cool Down and Reflect
When the music slows or you feel complete, come to stillness. Sit or lie down. Breathe deeply. Feel what’s shifted.
Write a few reflections in your journal:

  • What did I release through movement?
  • What clarity or vision arose?
  • What truth lives in my body now?
  • What wants to happen next - in this moment and in my life?

5. Offer It to the Moon

Close your practice with a moment of gratitude and reverence.

“I trust the path ahead. I walk forward with courage, openness, and joy.”
Blow out your candle as a seal of your movement ritual.
