Sometimes life is ultra-busy and we are so frantic and pressured that not only do we miss how valuable we are, but we can get stuck in beliefs that we will never attain, achieve or have that which we seem to be struggling for. It’s painful to feel unsupported, under-valued or dis-empowered.Other times we might wonder if what we are struggling for is worth the effort. Shall we continue or move in a different direction? Maybe we’ve lost our passion, as well as our focus. It’s painful to be in confusion and uncertainty.
It’s in these types of moments that I find the need for my meditation and healing rituals the most. It’s also the reason why I teach the tools that I use to clients and students to help them transcend and move themselves into the Power that lies hidden within them. Aligning with the Omni-potent, Omni-providence and Omniscient Force that is the Real You is the key, I believe, needed to navigate life challenges successfully. When you have that alignment, you become unstoppable, not to mention, at ease and graceful.I used to wonder how others could so easily get along without a routine or some sort of spiritual practice, since my energy healing techniques have been beyond valuable in moving me through several life crisis’s (my brother’s fatal motorcycle accident; my father’s passing; my father’s angry early years; my family rejecting me after I became an energy-worker; my starting a thriving life coaching and healing practice [which was a tad scary and risky] ). I’d say my skills and knowledge on how to move into deeper levels of emotional healing and wellness have been polished in the life classrooms of personal experiences, and I thought that maybe I was the only one who needed my tools. As the year’s passed I realized so many do not have rituals, or the knowledge of how energy works, to anchor themselves in the face of life’s storms and many of them end up in my office, not simply looking for a momentary healing, but to find definite ways to cope and feel at peace.
In past articles I have talked about using the breath, but intention is also a large part of moving your energy into a calmer, safer and more grounded space. Below is an intention and sound exercise I use and teach, that can leave you feeling lighter and more spacious inside. The spaciousness of your inner stillness will allow you to hear the leanings of your Higher Self, it’s simply a matter of holding the stillness for longer and longer each time. Make it a goal to work your way up to 30 minutes in each sitting. Small bits of regular sessions make for a stronger divine connection.In this exercise you will be chanting OM internally, while focusing on certain chakras and the feeling of each word as instructed.Sit with your spine straight and take a few easy breaths into your body. Be aware of your whole body and chant Om once.1st OM- Be aware of the word “Omniscient” and what that means to you, (All Knowing-ness of the divine spark within you). Then focus on the Crown center, the Forehead area, and the Heart Center. When you feel aware of all of them and the word “omniscient’, internally chant one long OM and sit in awareness at the crown, forehead area, and heart and in silence for as long as comfortable before moving to the second OM.2nd OM- Be aware of the word “Omni-provident” and what it means to you, (All Providing aspect of the divine spark within you). Then focus on the Heart, Solar Plexus and the Basic chakras. When you feel aware of all of them and the word “omni-provident”, internally chant one long OM and sit in awareness of the basic, heart and solar plexus, in silence for as long as comfortable before moving to the 3rd OM.3rd OM- Be aware of the word “Omni-potent” and what that means to you, (All-Powerful aspect of the divine spark within you). Then focus on the Basic, Navel and Solar Plexus chakras. When you feel aware of all of them and the word “omni-potent”, internally chant one long OM and enjoy the silence for as long as comfortable while being aware of the basic, navel and solar plexus.When you come back to your normal consciousness, say a word of gratitude and share some of the good energy with the earth by visualizing light going 10ft or so into the ground.
This short exercise can restore your receptivity and confidence while making you more magnetic. It helps to remember that you are not simply a body, but you are a being of Love, Light and Power. The energy with consciousness that is the Real You is not your worries, doubts or circumstances, and this short energy healing technique can easily and quickly put you back on track. You can add another layer to make it more powerful and impactful, and that is part of what I teach privately and online.
