We are all fashioned of the same stardust, the same beautiful knowing that our eternal and infinite being is, and cannot be described by the mind; a thread of Truth woven into the fabric of experience that continues to unfold into ever increasing depth. The fabric is this skin. This skin is a thin layer of memory stretching across millennia and multiple universes. So thin that Truth ‘speaks’ to us from stillness. The memories fade and what is left is awareness—not a thought—just knowing. And not knowing anything—just that. That? What is when we can no longer define or describe anything; when we grasp for something and come away empty handed. When the deepest love is not about anything or anybody but just is...arises from nowhere and flows everywhere.
What is it we ‘do’ with ‘that’ here? We may ask that question as it relates to the month of August the first three weeks of which are dominated by the sign Leo, the Sun and Self expression. The Sun, ruler of Leo is life and all of its billions of ways of being. If the unthinkable can be thought, the unknowable can be done. The movement that we are here perpetually guides us to Be here and do That. It is our nature and so cannot not be the way we act and react. There is creative spontaneity in our hearts (under Leo’s domain and the fifth house) the expression of which is observable everywhere though some human beings share awareness in a way that looks like: deeper, more intimate, touching, enticing and shocking—awakening us to some thing that we are, and to which the majority has had infrequent access.
What each must seek in his life never was on land or sea. It is something out of his own unique potentiality for experience, something that never has been and never could have been experienced by anyone else.

A lunar eclipse on August 7th and a solar eclipse on the 21st will provide energy for the whole month to take a look at how you have done things in the past and how you may want to dispense with beliefs that are limiting—that would be all beliefs pretty much. It moves us closer to the creative essence that is every human being. Better to be in a place of not knowing and in the heart whence movement to be here authentically issues forth without worry, stress or fear. The mind need not be involved.Prepare to understand the nature of suffering as a product of thinking; to have the fragile ego rocked and to be shaken to the core. We are vast yet limited to these human forms, containers of infinity in this simple land of make believe. In the land of make believe we create what we want. What is it that you want? Who is it that wants? Are you that which has desire or unlimited Being?In the vast unknowing what is it that you think you know? Vast is such a splendid word: definition, very great in size...great, too, when contemplated is unknowable. Take away judgment and these words float on a sea of openness, unending possibility. In relation to vastness and greatness we can imagine anything. There are no boundaries, parameters or limitations. The mind need not be involved. Essentially all words are the same, they have no Reality but are all a creation of the past that does not exist here and now. The spoken word or the images they produce need not create fear in this one when it is realized that this ‘one’ cannot be affected by word or deed.Self expression is the most natural thing here and everywhere. That is what is happening all the time—Self expression. In August the light shines so brightly that we become aware of illusion; that we lived day to day as separate individuals. With the lunar eclipse and the full moon darkened by the shadow of the earth between it and the sun, we journey inward to where illumination occurs; when the outer environment is obscured we naturally find our selves at home in stillness. Such is the freedom and joy of this being ‘at home’ that when the light of the sun returns, we see light has spread across the face of everything, equally. Judgment fades and with it suffering.With the solar eclipse the moon will darken the radiance of the sun and we will symbolically be thrust inward to reclaim the light. The light shines from within and waking up to this may happen in numbers. I am light that is everything including the shadow that creeps outward upon the ground. Though we do not see the sun for this brief period of time it is still the sun, still shining, still radiating. Shadow stretches out across the moment; the moment remains as it is.
Our self – luminous, open, empty Awareness – cannot be enlightened. It is already the light that illuminates all experience. Nor can a separate self be enlightened, for when the separate self faces the light of Awareness, it vanishes, just as a shadow does when exposed to the sun.

The first card for August is naturally The Sun XIX. The Sun represents us radiating Self joyously, authentically. We wear no mask and hence the naked child seen in this card. They are open sharing warmth and light with everyone. Here Self expression is what ever is shared in the moment without censorship and everything benefits from such genuine sharing from the heart.

The second card for August is Temperance XIV. An angel pours the waters of heaven into the container of the material realm—as above so below. Have patience what you seek is here. Allow the mists to lift, be clear. The path to ‘success’ is straightforward and not long. And wisdom guides us to this realization persistently, consistently—and one day we listen.
The third card for this month is The Page of Cups who has an innocence and knowing that has little to do with his head. His perspective on the world is a result of the pure connection he has to his heart. Enormous faith and trust in what is not based on established believes allows him to ‘imagine’ without limitation.
