December~New Year = New Possibilities by Maggie Gressierer

As the year 2011 winds down, I would like to remind everyone about the importance of new beginnings. At all times, we may not have been at our best and may have even made some rather avoidable mistakes along the way, however, we could also have even been coming from a higher consciousness when dealing with some situations. At the end of the day, as we draw the line and reflect, we also can't help but realize that it is exactly those mistakes that make us human and help us to learn valuable lessons.

January is the beginning of a new year, 2012, what will you make of it?

Take a moment to reflect on your family, friends, work, activities, causes you feel the need to support and re-evaluate how you feel about it all. Is there any adjustment needed? If you feel drained in certain areas, surround yourself with people and things that uplift you.

And, of course, there is the exciting area of the unknown! Possibilities, opportunities that might well manifest beyond anything you even imagined. As this year winds down, dream big! Visualize your dreams and most importantly hold the feeling of having your dreams already be turned into reality—hold that feeling as often and as long as you can and take steps towards that direction. It may seem like 3 small steps, with another 1000 to go in order to reach that goal, but sometimes the universe speeds things up in miraculous ways. As we all know, the first few steps are the most important, they set everything else in motion, the intent and initial actions really count!

Stop by Paradise Found. Let me know your thoughts on this year’s reflections, as well as next year’s intentions.

Dream Big and Happy Holidays. May they be filled with love, warmth, gratitude…and lots of smiles of course!
