Which herbal blends do you want in your magical toolkit?
Herbs, like crystals, possess specific, distinct energies that are utilized in magic. Ceridwen’s herbs are all hand-blended at the foot of the Ozarks, in Arkansas, USA. Mothers, daughters and grandmothers make them using many of old traditions found in the Farmer’s Almanac, including wildcrafting, gathering of herbs, and being mindful of moon cycles. These remedies and have been passed on for generations by myth, legend, folklore and practice.
Each packet is filled with a combination of herbs, flowers, roots, leaves and resins. Find your oil | There are specially pre-prepared blends of oils, essential oils or natural basic oils like grapeseed or olive oils, with which you anoint your candle before adding your herbs.
Pick a your candle | While any candle will work, it is traditional to use a plain unscented candle, in a symbolic color that evokes the intention of the ritual. Everyone has their personal associations with each color, and above all intuition should be your guide. Here is a list of common color meanings for inspiration:
