There is what is going on externally, the virus, the demonstrations, the political situation, the elements, the planets in aspect...and there is what goes on in here. In here refers to that which is beyond our body/mind association or beyond thought. Beyond thought is peace, stillness, the silence that speaks of Being, awareness, One-ness, undivided. Though the storm rages all about, I am that. Let me put attention there. Why? That I can continue the creative process that I so desire to experience here without limitation. Without fear.

September 17th New Moon Virgo 25 degrees Virgo 4:00 a.m. PDT Mars turned retrograde September 9th in Aries, it’s own sign. Slowing down is not easy for the planet of action and can create tension and frustration. It is however, heading back to square Saturn and that aspect will create a sense of responsibility for one’s actions and reactions that in Aries can be hasty and misdirected. It will provide the time to consider and reflect upon how such action, lacking in compassion, affects the community. And compassion will be highlighted at this new moon as Venus in Leo (the heart) is square to Uranus in Taurus asking for the higher octave of Venus to be expressed. Rather than personal focus Venus draws upon expression from the heart, for the benefit of all.Jupiter stationing direct on the 13th just before the new moon is an auspicious indication that truth will be revealed, big things break the surface and trust renewed provides fuel for the ever growing desire for a more harmonious living. By the end of this year Jupiter reaches Aquarius where finally a deep breath can be taken and we can fully expand into the technology that waits to serve us.This new moon at 25 degrees Virgo exactly trine Saturn at 25 degrees Capricorn has a serious feeling. Time to focus on the details and see how we can solve problems in a practical way. There is little tolerance with this combination that exudes maturity, practicality and responsibility. There is a tendency to cut through illusion to reveal Truth.Saturn goes direct on the 29th of this month and many of us will feel a great urge to step into those bigger shoes that await. If you are not sure of the specifics at this time, have patience. Both Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius as of December of this year will release our dreams, our visions for ‘a better world’. We cannot help but feel the motivation to create/build and contribute to the new born structure in ways that encourage the light.On a personal level it is a good time to use this energy to free one self from the illusions that limit us, to follow the energy inward with Mars retrograde and see where desire for deeper discovery leads one. If we confront anger that may be possible as anger is an expression of Mars, we can utilize maturity to navigate the waters that may, thus far, be uncharted. If there are emotions that are repressed, that may hold us hostage, it is time to acknowledge them and allow them to surface.Why do we do this? To what benefit this seemingly unpleasant task? Lightens the load and frees the individual from the enormous burden that negative emotions become—always needing attention in some way. Demanding that we get something from the external world when nothing in the external world provides us with any guarantees or permanence.

There is a place without suffering that more and more are envisioning as Truth. The way has been revealed and we need only continue to take one step at a time toward this Truth and liberation. And as we all hold hands, it is just a matter of time.At this time may we all take great care for the Self for that has a deepening, compassionate effect that eases our journey through turbulent waters.
