Full Moon in Libra | Wednesday 4/5/23 at 9:34 p.m. PT

I am complete within myself.
I am coming from a place of wholeness, when I connect with the world and other souls near me.
Opportunities abound, co-exist, and co-evolve in a beautiful way.
I remain grounded and present, as energy flows freely, in...and out...

"In the midst of Aries Season, in between two New Moons in Aries, we have the Full Moon in Libra, bringing some Air to our Fire. While Aries Season asks us to focus on ourselves and the soul’s mission, Libra reminds us that we live in a world with other people. These people also have a soul’s mission and purpose. In order for everyone to feel that their mission is honored, supported, and respected, there needs to be compromise, conscious listening, and the willingness to let go.

This Moon is a time to survey our relationships and decide if they are limiting or supporting us. It’s a time to feel how we can encourage others to find their life’s journey and decide how to walk our individual paths together. Ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty, Libra reminds us to connect with what we love in life. Libra also helps us connect with our hearts and communicate with others from this place. In its highest energy, Libra gives us patience, compassion, and the willingness to understand other people’s perspectives."

Ostara, Easter, East | "Ostara is an ancient Germanic festival to mark the arrival of Springtime. Flowers will start to bloom, and baby animals are emerging from all corners of the earth. The forest is alive, as are the fields. We honor the Earth’s awakening. The Norse word eostur, eastur, or ostara, means “the season of the growing sun” or  “the season of new birth.” The word east comes from the same roots.

This first full moon of the spring season, known as The Pink Moon, will reach peak illumination on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 9:34 p.m. PT. The etymology of April goes back to Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and procreation. Known as Apru to the Etruscans, she was adopted by Romans who also celebrated her in April. In the Roman calendar, the month April is spelled Aprilis, meaning "to open"–this opening refers to the new buds of flowers beginning to open.

The term “Pink Moon” has nothing to do with the color of the moon, rather it refers to a particular pink wildflower that blooms at this time called Pink Phlox. This is the seasonal moment to open heart and mind to love, romance, cooperation and companionship. The days grow longer and we experience peak emotional joy, bliss and ecstasy.
